Duke University Public Policy and Political Science Professor Anirudh Krishna will discuss contemporary India. As in other rapidly developing economies, rising affluence for some has been accompanied by deepening inequality, especially along rural-urban lines. The factors contributing to these patterns – and the price we pay for them – will also be discussed, along with suggestions as to how policy and grassroots engagement can make a change.
