Join the UCSB Blum Center for a Pop Up Discussion on homelessness - why it exists, why it persists, and what can be done about it. Our discussion will draw on themes raised in the award-winning documentary "Skid Row Marathon," which will be screened at the UCSB Multicultural Center on Sunday, August 26th at 3PM, followed by a panel with filmmakers and members of the cast.

In anticipation of this film screening, join our Student Pop Up Discussion and help us identify key question to ask the panel members over pizza on Thursday, August 23rd @ 6PM in RM2320, Girvetz Hall. The discussion will be faciliated by Joanne Nowak (Academic Coodinator, Blum Center) and Jackie Kurta (Director, UCSB Alcohol and Drug Program).

To attend the Pop Up Discussion, please RSVP by Tuesday, August 21st by contacting: joanne.nowak@ucsb.edu
