Poverty Alleviation Magazine: Call for Submissions!

DEADLINE: March 31, 2019

InSight Magazine is a Southern California-based, student-run publication dedicated to recognizing and addressing poverty and inequality in the local community, supported by the UC Irvine Blum Center for Poverty Alleviation.

InSight has an open call for submissions and is seeking writers and artists interested in the topic of poverty alleviation. Writers and artists are free to submit content they’ve created that fits in with the themes of InSight, such as narratives, perspectives, opinion, and commentary. Topics of interest include student poverty, incarceration, homelessness and human trafficking. Apart from written pieces, multimedia pieces such as photo essays, videos, infographics or artwork related to poverty also will be considered.
