CARE-UC Innovation Fellowship Program – Request for Proposals

We are pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for The CARE-UC Innovation Fellowship opportunity. The CARE-UC Innovation Fellowship is a research and training opportunity established by CARE USA’s Innovation Team and the University of California, in collaboration with the UC Blum Center Network. The Fellowship is intended to strengthen the workforce pipeline of expertly-trained individuals whose training and expertise can alleviate poverty and improve human conditions in California, regionally and internationally. The Fellowship is open to UC graduate students in good academic standing from any discipline or degree program.

The RFP for this opportunity is attached, and available on our website.  The application due date is Thursday, February 20, 2020, and the Fellowship period is April-September 2020.

KEY REMINDERS

The submission date is February 20th, 2020 at 12PM PT. Please also keep in mind that your application must include: a letter of recommendation from a UC faculty advisor, a signed departmental approval form, and a signature from the campus Office of Research Contract and Grant/Sponsored Project Office. 

Each of these will require time to prepare (particularly the process of receiving a signature from the Office of Research Contract and Grant/Sponsored Project office). If you have not yet begun this process, you will need to do so ASAP in order to have all the required materials ready to submit by February 20th. Please consult with your department, such as your business officer/MSO, for guidance on this process.

Please note that proposalCENTRAL is open for applicants to access the application materials and begin the submission process.  Please search and select  “CARE-UC Innovation Fellowship” in the pC open opportunities search tool to access the application.
