Bio:
What is one issue related to poverty and inequality that you think is most important right now?
Right now I believe it is so important to address the systemic injustices that are tied to the rigid cycles of poverty. We’ve learned so much from many different fields of study (Economics, History, Political Science, and Sociology) and I believe it is my generation’s turn to take this information and make actual change on a foundational level that will have a ripple effect for future.
What quote most inspires you to fight against social injustice?
“As long as poverty, injustice, and gross inequality persist in our world, none of us can truly rest.”
- Nelson Mandela
