Jasmine Perez - PISJ Minor Peer Advisor

Jasmine Perez

Jasmine Perez is our student Peer Advisor for the Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice Minor. You can contact Jasmine for questions, requirements, quarter planning, identifying appropriate courses for the Minor, and other inquiries. Jasmine can help direct you to the right resource for your needs. If the available appointment times do not work with your schedule, please send her an email and she will set up an appointment with you. She is available via email or Zoom.

Kiara Actis - PISJ Minor Advisor, Course Petitions, and Graduation

Kiara Actis

Kiara Actis is the Undergraduate Advisor for the History Department. She handles all PISJ Minor course petitions, progress reports, and assistance with ensuring graduation requirements are met. She also provides additional advising support for the Minor and you can contact her with your questions.

Dr. Kashia Arnold - Assistant Director of the Blum Center

Dr. Kashia Arnold

Dr. Arnold is the Assistant Director of the Blum Center. She works directly with the Blum Center Director Dr. Gaye Theresa Johnson, and UCSB faculty, staff, and students to provide support and improve the PISJ Minor experience. She is always interested in learning about student experiences in the Minor. She also welcomes all non-PISJ students wanting to participate in Blum Center events and workshops. Please contact her with your questions or to schedule an in-person appointment.
