TBD - PISJ Minor Peer Advisor
The student Peer Advisor position for the Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice Minor is currently open. The Peer Advisor answers questions about Minor requirements, helps students plan their quarters and identify courses that count toward the Minor, and directs students to the right resource for their needs. We will post the new Peer Advisor's office hours and contact information here as soon as the position is filled.
TBD - PISJ Minor Advisor, Course Petitions, and Graduation
The History Department's Undergraduate Advisor position is currently open. The Undergraduate Advisor handles all PISJ Minor course petitions, progress reports, and graduation requirement checks, and provides additional advising support for the Minor. We will post the new advisor's office hours and scheduling information here as soon as the department fills the position.
Dr. Kashia Amber Arnold - Assistant Director of the Blum Center
Dr. Arnold is the Assistant Director of the Blum Center. She works directly with the Blum Center Director Dr. Gaye Theresa Johnson, and UCSB faculty, staff, and students to provide support and improve the PISJ Minor experience. She is always interested in learning about student experiences in the Minor. She also welcomes all non-PISJ students wanting to participate in Blum Center events and workshops. Please contact her with your questions or to schedule an in-person appointment.
